Elden Ring how to beat the Beastman of Farum Azula
Our Elden Ring Beastman of Faum Azula boss guide teaches you a few key tips for taking him on. Hopefully these tips should help you to defeat the Beastman of Farum Azula. They are:
- Master the backstab
- Dodge through everything
- Guard Counter as often as you can
A lot of the Beastman’s attacks are slow and easily telegraphed, which means you can dodge behind him and get out of the way of his ground slams or slashes, all of which can be dodged by rolling.
From there, you should be behind him and be easily able to backstab him to shave off a chunk of his health. His three-hit combo will sometimes turn into a five-hit combo, so be careful and dodge if you see him starting to wind up another attack after he pauses.
You can also block some of his small one or two hit attacks and return with an attack to Guard Counter, which will stun the Beastman eventually to leave him vulnerable for follow-up attacks.
The Beastman can also do a thrust if you are at a distance from him. This can easily be dodged by rolling to the side. He can also follow this up with another two attacks, starting with a slice along the ground.
At halfway, he will sometimes perform a long multi-hit combo, which is best avoided by simply backing up as far away from him as possible or rolling through the attacks.
And there you have it. There isn’t a whole lot to master for this fight but you just want to practice your dodging and make the most of your powerful backstabs.
