Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a cosy Animal Crossing-like experience but is set in a world filled with your favourite characters or the characters your child is currently obsessed with. From Wall-E to Goofy, and more almost anyone you can think of is in Dreamlight Valley and the Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs have a bunch of exclusive items for you to grab during the game’s early access period.
These Founder’s Packs are one of the only ways to get your hands on the game before it goes free-to-play so the extra bonus items, currencies, and more are a nice bonus.
But, which one of these Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs should you buy? And, which one offers the best value for money? Well, this guide will go over each of them and which one offers the most valuable key into Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs Explained
There are three different Founder’s Packs in Disney Dreamlight Valley which you can purchase during the early access period. They are:
Standard Edition Founder’s Pack
The Standard Edition Founder’s Pack for Disney Dreamlight Valley gives you access to the game and comes with three unique design motifs, two wearable items, nine decoration items, and 8,000 Moonstones to spend in-game.
This version of the game costs $29.99/£24.99 and is available on all platforms.
This pack is a great entry point for kids and people who don’t want to go all in on the game. It is still a somewhat high entry point, but it is the cheapest way to get early access and should allow your kids or even yourself to get a look at the game and see if it is for them.
Deluxe Edition Founder’s Pack
The Disney Dreamlight Valley Deluxe Edition Founder’s Pack contains considerably more for the price of £41.74/$49.99.
In this edition, you get early access to the game, 14,500 Moonstones, all the standard edition cosmetics, three more design motifs, ten decoration items, seven wearable items, the Celestial Sea Turtle animal companion, the deluxe Jersey, and the Mickey Mouse Dount headband. You can grab this version of the game on all platforms.
The Deluxe Edition offers a lot more in terms of items for you to use in-game or customise your house with. But, it comes at almost double the price. The extra Moonstones, animal campaign, and decorations and cosmetic items though are some of the better ones available initially during this early access period.
Ultimate Edition Founder’s Pack
The final edition of Disney Dreamlight Valley is the Ultimate Edition Founder’s Pack and contains 20,000 Moonstones, early access to the game, all standard and deluxe edition cosmetics, three more design motifs, 15 decoration items, four more wearable items, the Regal Fox animal companion, the Ultimate Jersey, and the Mickey Mouse Dount headband.
This most expensive version of the game costs £58.49/$69.99 on all platforms.
For a pretty penny, you can pick up this edition of the game which comes with every exclusive early access item available through these Founder’s Packs. The extra Moonstones also allow you or your kid to buy some of the more exclusive items available in the store. This is the most expensive version of the game, but the extra items here and the small price increase over the Deluxe Edition make it more of a worthwhile buy than that middle-priced version of the game.
That covers the Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs. If you don’t fancy feeding Scrooge McDuck’s money-hungry pockets, you can also get your hands on Disney Dreamight Valley through Game Pass. Although, this will mean you won’t get any of the Founder’s Pack exclusive items ahead of the free-to-play launch.
