Do you think you have what it takes to hunt vampires (and other ghouls) with the best of them during Diablo 4 Season of Blood? Well, developer Blizzard wants you to prove that in its Diablo 4 Vampire Hunters contest – and it’s even bringing Buffy the Vampire Slayer herself in to judge you. That’s right, Sarah Michelle Gellar is teaming up with Blizzard and inviting you to showcase your wooden stake skills for a chance to win over $800 of prizes.

Diablo 4 is one of the best RPG games out there right now and the Season of Blood is offering players the perfect place to slay undead throughout the spookiest season of the year. With a new selection of Uniques worth hunting after and endless improvements to be made to all the best Diablo 4 builds, there’s more than enough reason to boot up your Xbox or PS5 and play. However, Blizzard and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar want you to take a step away from your console for a moment and show off your vampire-hunting skills in a new limited-time contest.

Calling on all the wannabe vampire hunters out there, the dynamic duo of Blizzard and Buffy want players to share clips of themselves “showcasing [their] undead slaying skills” with the hashtag “#DiabloHunters” for the chance to win – and, we quote this social media post – “some killer loot”. If you’re wondering what that loot actually is, it includes some “ghoul-hunting gear”, stuff signed by Sarah Michelle Gellar, and “a whole bunch of Battle.net credits”. Sounds pretty good, right?

Well, to enter, all you need to do is start sharing your clips – of at least 10 seconds in length – on social media (TikTok, Twitter/X, or Instagram) with the aforementioned hashtag – and, of course, tag the official Diablo account where you can. As explained by these terms and conditions, Activision Blizzard – with some input from Sarah Michelle Gellar – will pick three winners. You’ll get around $500 worth of Battle.net credits with the combined retail value of the whole prize upwards of $815. So, if you think you have what it takes, it’s definitely worth a shot.

As with every opportunity like this, you must be over 18 years old to enter and avoid doing anything too dangerous; so, don’t start shooting yourself with any homemade crossbows, if possible. You have until 12:00 PST / 15:00 EST / 20:00 GMT on November 2, 2023, to enter. If you’re going as Van Helsing to any Halloween parties in the next couple of days, you should make sure you’re taking advantage of that for this contest.

For those of you who would much rather just hunt vampires and other ghouls and goblins in Diablo 4, you can check out the best Diablo 4 class and builds for that class here. Fans also feel like the restrictive Helltides are “destined” to change in a future update, and there’s a great way for you to get free Diablo 4 tier skips right now. So, there’s plenty going on aside from the fact that Daphne from Scooby Doo wants you to wave about some cloves of Garlic – and then post that online.
