Ahead of the Destiny 2 Season of The Deep release date, it appears that developer Bungie has found its Xivu Arath. Notable for appearing in Destiny 2 Season 11, the villainous Hive Knight has been absent since then, but this could all change with the upcoming Destiny 2 update. Now, new details allege that a voice actor is already crafting the character of Xivu Arath behind the scenes, following the release of Destiny 2 Lightfall.
That’s according to the prolific Destiny 2 content tracking account ‘DestinyTracker’, which claims that “According to IMDB [the Internet Movie Database] Kimberly Brooks has been cast as Xivu Arath in Destiny 2.” Accompanied by a cinematic image of the villain and Brooks’ acting headshot, DestinyTracker says “hopefully we hear Xivu Arath soon.” Players that are eager to glimpse Brooks’ role within Destiny 2 can head over to the Destiny 2 Lightfall page on IMDB.
While Brooks is currently listed as Xivu Arath, is it possible that developer Bungie could remove this, as official confirmation is yet to be issued to players on the game’s social media pages. The Destiny 2 Season of The Deep release date is on the calendars of every guardian out there, as Bungie teases the next chapter of exciting story details. Not much known is about Season of The Deep’s narrative, but we do know that The Deep (also known as The Darkness) is creeping its way into the game’s world.
The arrival of Xivu Arath has been teased for some time now, as the last year of Destiny 2 has slowly asserted that the Season 11 villain is coming to lay waste to the galaxy. Xivu Arath’s appearance was further teased back in December last year after Bungie proclaimed that “as the threat of Xivu Arath looms, Mithrax has taken time to study the secrets of Nezarec’s relics” in a Twitter post.
Known as Xi Ro in the past, Xivu Arath is known to Destiny 2 fans as a Hive God that is the youngest sister to Oryx, the Taken King and Savathûn, the Witch Queen. With an undying thirst to become one of the most feared presences in the universe, Xivu Arath shouldn’t be underestimated if she arrives in Season of The Deep.
In the meantime, don’t forget to head into the Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares Raid, as we make it easy to reap its lucrative rewards.
