Destiny 2 Final Dawn
The steps for the Destiny 2 Final Dawn quest are:
- Complete the Abhorrent Imperative mission
- Meet with Zavala in the Tower
- Meet with Ikora Ray in the Tower
- Speak to Ana Bray at the Holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
- Receive Rasputin’s final message

Complete the Abhorrent Imperative mission
After instantly loading into the H.E.L.M. and watching Rasputin and Ana argue you will be instructed to complete a brand new mission, Abhorrent Imperative. This mission takes you back to the Seraph ship to hunt down Eramis and prevent her from using the Warsats.
This mission is fairly straightforward and not too difficult. Eramis and the bosses are a little tanky, but some useful heavy weapons can really help here. You are able to summon Exo Frames that are effectively mechs to help you out.
Once you defeat the boss at the end by reaching each of its damage thresholds and destroying the knights, you will see a cutscene, which we don’t want to spoil for you.
Meet with Zavala in the Tower
Once the cutscene ends, you will automatically be transported back to the Tower and you can talk to Zavala who will reflect on the latest revelation.
Meet with Ikora Ray in the Tower
From there, head over to Ikora who will do the same thing.
Speak to Ana Bray at the Holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
Finally, make your way to the H.E.L.M. and chat with Ana using the Holoprojector. She will mourn the loss of Rasputin and also reflect on everything that has led to this moment.
Receive Rasputin’s final message
Then head over to the Exo Frame and talk to it one last time. Here you will hear Rasputin’s final message where he tells you that the Neptuian city is real but he doesn’t know where it is. This city holds the key to “The Veil” which we are predicting is Strand, which we will obtain in this city, Neomuna, in Lightfall.
He then destroys the information and entrusts it to you, completing the quest. As a reward, you will get an Ascendant Shard and the Spirit of the Warmind ship.
