Destiny 2 Lightfall has blessed Guardians with a suite of new Exotic gear to kit their characters out, and the Void-based Deterministic Chaos machine gun is one of them. But, as part of the Unfinished Business quest you’ll need to complete to get this monster masher, you’re going to have to find Destiny 2 Cloud Accretions.
So what are Cloud Accretions in Destiny 2? Cloud Accretions are a resource that can be found throughout Neomuna. These crystalline plants – at least they look like crystalline plants – not only help you complete the third step of the Destiny 2 Unfinished Business quest to get Destiny 2 Deterministic Chaos, but will also net you some of that all-important Nimbus reputation. So be sure to farm them even if you’re not currently on the quest.
Where to find Cloud Accretions in Destiny 2
Cloud Accretions can be found at random locations across Neomuna. It is a small silver crystal so should stand out.
The best way to quickly hunt these down is by equipping your Ghost with the Resource Detector tracking mod – we used the Perfected version – as it’ll give you the heads up when the resource is nearby.
Just remember that, if you are collecting these for the Unfinished Business quest, you’ll want to cleave through a sizable sample of Vex first in order to acquire the necessary Cipher Qubits. From there, track down Cloud Accretions to your heart’s content.
