The addition of marksman rifles in Warzone 2 has provided a whole new dimension to how you can go about your business in Al Mazrah. The best Warzone 2 SA-B 50 loadout, for example, blends the punchiness of a sniper rifle with the run-and-gun potential of an SMG.
While the SA-B 50 isn’t going to give you the full power of the best Warzone 2 sniper rifle or the best Warzone 2 SMG – that would be incredibly broken – it certainly makes for a powerful addition to your battle royale arsenal, and it could even make its way onto our best Warzone 2 marksman rifle list.

The best Warzone 2 SA-B 50 loadout right now comes courtesy of Call of Duty creator ‘Coltonpro96’:
- Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
- Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip
- Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt
- Ammunition: .308 High Velocity
- Optic: FTAC Locus SP
Yes, you read that right, this build utilises both a laser and an optic. The Schlager PEQ Box IV only activates when ADS’ing, meaning you won’t be a moving beacon as you cut about the Warzone 2 map. The laser provides a solid bump to ADS speed, starting us out on the right track for a speedy loadout.
On the topic of optics, Coltonpro96 runs the FTAC Locus SP, though notes that this is entirely down to personal preference. If you love quick-scoping at mid-long range, we are fans of the SZ Vortex-90’s dual optics.
As speed is key in this build, the Schlager Match Grip (sprint to fire and ADS speed) as well as the FSS ST87 Bolt (rechambering speed) are the attachments of choice in their respective slots. Round out the build with some .308 High Velocity ammo, and you’ve got a fast-moving, fast-firing beast on your hands.
Where possible, tune each attachment for speed – be it ADS, sprint to fire etc. – though, as noted by CoD maestro ‘JGOD’, don’t move the slider all the way to one extreme, as you will get diminishing returns at the expense of the other stat. Of course, Coltonpro96’s build is meant to push mobility to the maximum, so definitely experiment to see what feels best for you.
Warzone 2 SA-B 50 class setup
Of course, we can’t be letting you go out into Al Mazrah without a proper SA-B 50 class setup.
If you’re planning to use this as an all-purpose rifle, covering the mid-long range, then you could easily get away without running a second primary weapon. In which case, we’d recommend a perk package like Commando or Warden – especially the later if being ultra-mobile is the end goal. Both give access to Fast Hands, bolstering your reload speed.
If you do want to run a second primary, then you’ll need to take Weapons Specialist to access Overkill. From here, we’d recommend the best Warzone 2 Lachmann Sub loadout or best Warzone 2 Fennec 45 loadout as close-range SMG options.
When it comes to equipment, you can’t go wrong with the tried and tested combination of Drill Charges in the lethal slot, and a Heartbeat Sensor in the tactical slot. Explosivity and top-tier recon? Yes please.
