It’s that time of year again. A new Call of Duty looms and we’re practicing our dolphin diving skills ready for what’s to come (don’t judge). This year, though, we’re getting a mainline entry in the Call of Duty series as well as Warzone 2. And, seeing as the battle royale is best played with a premade group, you’ll want to know whether Warzone 2 crossplay support is being included this time around.
Call of Duty Warzone 2 crossplay features mean that you can play with – or against – those on other platforms in cross-platform play. This provides the ultimate battleground for controller versus keyboard and mouse debate.
So, below you’ll find everything we know about whether you can play Warzone 2 with others no matter what console or platform they play on.
Warzone 2 crossplay and cross-platform support speculation
Call of Duty Warzone 2 will most likely have crossplay features and allow full cross-platform support no matter where you play. This hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, but the original Call of Duty Warzone has had full crossplay between all consoles and PC since its release on March 10, 2022.
Given that the feature has already been implemented in a previous title, we don’t think that Activision will remove it for Warzone 2. However, it must be clearly noted that at this point in time, we are going off limited information and nothing concrete has been confirmed.
We will, of course, update this guide as soon as we can confirm whether the features are present or not.
That’s everything we know about Warzone 2 crossplay and cross-platform support. In the meantime, if you’re still playing Call of Duty Warzone in its current guide, then why not check out our best PPSh loadout or Grau loadout guides to see what attachments you should equip to beat the competition?
