Call of Duty Vanguard Gracey Auto best class setup and attachments

Take a look at the best Vanguard Gracey Auto loadout to run-and-gun with a deadly shotgun in multiplayer.

Vanguard Gracey Auto class: A long-barrelled shotgun with drum mags, set against a black background

Call of Duty Vanguard is no longer supported with additional content or significant updates, and players have largely moved on to more recent releases. Nevertheless, Vanguard’s multiplayer is still available and this loadout is usable.

There always seems to be at least one overpowered shotgun in every Call of Duty game, and Call of Duty Vanguard was no different. In small maps like Das Haus and Shipment, one shotgun completely blew people away – the Gracey Auto.

While the base weapon wasn’t much to write home about, this unbelievable Gracey Auto shotgun loadout made it one of the best Vanguard guns. With this combination of attachments, you had a huge magazine for racking up multi-kills, ridiculous damage numbers, and lightning-fast sprint speed and movement.

Vanguard Gracey Auto class

The best CoD Vanguard Gracey Auto build was:

  • Muzzle: M97 Full Choke
  • Barrel: Chariot 33” Sport
  • Optic: M38/ Slate 2.5X Custom
  • Stock: Ragdoll P-Wire
  • Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip
  • Magazine: 12 Gauge 10 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Buck and Slug
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Gung-Ho
  • Kit: Quick

This is the same monstrous Gracey Auto Vanguard loadout that was used in several viral clips at the time, reflecting just how strong this weapon was at its peak.

The absolute key here was the proficiency and kit combo. Gung-Ho allowed you to hip-fire while sprinting and Quick gave you a massive movement speed boost. Paired with the Lightweight perk, you’d be zooming around the map blasting foes left, right, and center with a blunderbuss of a shotgun.

Elsewhere, the 12 Gauge 10 Round mags gave you ample bullets and speedy reload speeds, while the Buck and Slug rounds improved your range – which was and always will be great for a shotgun. The Chariot barrel also helped with range, and the M97 Full Choke muzzle tightened your bullet spread to maximize the damage dealt by making your shots more accurate.

A very valuable attachment was the Fabric Grip, which gave you a boost to your hip fire capabilities (because if you were ADSing with this thing, you were doing it wrong).

Equally valuable were the SMLE Pistol Grip and Ragdoll P-Wire stock, which both gave generous increases to sprint-to-fire time. All in all, you could run-and-gun with no breaks using this Gracey Auto build.

While this Gracey Auto shotgun loadout was built for one thing – close-range carnage, we used to have a blast with it. For racking up ridiculous kill counts on small maps, there really was no better tool for the job. For larger maps that required effectiveness at all ranges, you couldn’t go wrong with a good STG44 Vanguard class, however.
