To unlock the MX Guardian in MW2, you’ll need to complete all of the challenges in the [Classified] sector in the Season 4 Battle Pass, with the challenges being:
- Get 10 ADS Operator kills with a shotgun
- Get 10 hipfire Operator kills with a shotgun
- Get 10 headshot Operator kills with a shotgun
- Get 10 one shot Operator kills with a shotgun

After completing the above challenges, the MX Guardian will become available to you. Considering the unlock challenges for a new weapon in a Reloaded update typically ask for one simple task to be completed, it’s interesting the MX Guardian is locked behind four tasks.
It may be a sign that this shotgun is pretty powerful, and Infinity Ward wants you to go through the paces to unlock it.
