Modern Warfare 2 Season 1’s release date was November 16, 2022. Season 1 was released alongside Warzone 2.0 – a big day for Call of Duty. Season 1 brought with it new Special Ops missions, maps, modes, operators, vehicles, weapons, and a new battle pass to grind.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 roadmap
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s Season 1 roadmap included a ton of stuff from the CDL Moshpit playlist to two classic maps returning. In addition, Modern Warfare 2’s first Raid series, Atomgrad, launched on December 14 of that year, with a new co-op mission for Spec Ops also parachuting in.
Atomgrad’s four Raids were multi-hour long 3v3 missions that required intense communication and teamwork to navigate. The first episode didn’t actually arrive until the Season 1 Reloaded update.
