If you’re someone who has digitally pre-ordered Infinity Ward’s shooter, you will be pleased to know that you don’t have long to wait when it comes to the release time of the new Modern Warfare 2 campaign. So, if you’re someone who was looking for more of a reason to jump into this game’s story mode, there it is. You can actually earn new operators, calling cards, stickers, double XP tokens, and weapon blueprints for Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer by finishing the campaign.
But, enough about that. Here’s the information you came for. Early access to the Modern Warfare 2 campaign starts at 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST on October 20th. This is roughly one week before the full release of Modern Warfare 2 – meaning, it’s about a week before multiplayer drops.
With Call of Duty campaigns often lasting anything between six and ten hours, a week should be more than enough time to play through the story at least once – if not twice.
It’s also worth noting that all the aforementioned campaign rewards will be available at any stage. So, you don’t need to rush and finish the campaign during the early access period.
