This War of Mine Final Cut is appearing on the Microsoft store, sporting a May 10 release date, sparking speculation and reports that it will be one of the Xbox Game Pass May free games.
11 Bit Studios’ strategy-survival game already has a presence on consoles, with an expansion pack called This War of Mine The Little Ones releasing on last-gen consoles in 2016. However, the Final Cut – which is already playable on PC – includes all the game’s content and DLCs in one package. A listing for This War of Mine Final Cut was spotted on the Xbox store earlier today, with users in some countries seeing an Xbox Game Pass icon listed next to the game name. It now appears this icon has been removed from all store pages.
Also listed on the Xbox store is the This War of Mine Complete Edition, which despite costing more to preorder right now, appears to also contain all the previous content packs and DLC just like the Final Cut. Both versions share the same release date of May 10, and both descriptions claim the game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and not Xbox One.
Aside from the aforementioned The Little Ones expansion, no listings for any version of This War of Mine are appearing on the PlayStation store right now, which may hint that this will be an Xbox-only console release.

While it’s still yet to be confirmed whether This War of Mine will hit Xbox Game Pass when it launches on Series X|S next month, the evidence seems to suggest that it most likely will.
If it does get added to the service, it will be joining fellow day-one additions like Sniper Elite 5 and Trek To Yomi in the May lineup.
