Wo Long Fallen Dynasty’s release date is set for March 3, 2023. The game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
This means the game will hit its original early 2023 release window, which was given at its announcement.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Story
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty’s story is set in 184 AD in China. The game follows a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms.
‘Wo Long’ refers to a crouching dragon and also refers to a hero or person of greatness who is not yet known. Wo Long’s focus is on the officers during this time who will later become heroes. The game’s story length will reportedly take about 40 hours to beat.

The gameplay trailer for Wo Long Fallen Dynasty shows it to be somewhat similar to Nioh. However, with less of a focus on relentless attacking you will need to master dodging, parrying, and blocking. You will also be able to summon spirits to help you out as you make your way through the game’s linear levels.
