If you are beginning your journey through The Last of Us Part 1, you will want to be sure you are grabbing everything you can, so you don’t have to double back and replay chapters or the whole game. As such, this guide will cover all The Last of Us Part 1 remake’s The Outskirts collectible locations so you can grab everything your first time through.
There aren’t a ton of collectibles in this chapter, but with everything taking place at night it can be quite hard to catch everything. So, this guide will cover all the collectibles in the order they appear.
Below, you can find all of The Last of Us Part 1 remake’s The Outskirts collectible locations. We will also feature supplements locations so you can grab new skills in the process.
The Last of Us Part 1 remake The Outskirts collectible locations
The Outskirts has 21 collectibles for you to find in The Last of Us part 1. These include nine artefacts, four Firefly pendants, one workbench, three shiv doors and safes, and four optional conversations. These are all found in the following places:
Tess’ List artefact collectible location
After Joel takes a rest and Tess meets back up with you at the start of the chapter, look on the table by the couch to find a document.
Optional conversation 1 collectible location
After the last collectible, head into the next room and look out the window with Tess to activate the next conversation.
Patrol Routes Map artefact collectible location
After going down the lift, look to the right to find a document on the ground by the boilers.
Excavation Leaflet artefact collectible location
Later on, once you are outside the zone you will climb up a broken road and see some stoplights ahead of you. On your right, you will see a waste bin, with the document on the ground next to it.
Lenz’s Firefly pendant collectible location
Later on, you will crouch under a destroyed building, before heading into the skyscraper. On your right you will see a small garden and seating area. Here there is a tree overlooking the Quarantine Zone. Hanging in the tree you can see a pendant which you can knock down with a brick.
Optional conversation 2 collectible location
After you enter the skyscraper, you will pass a freshly killed enemy against a door. Interact with his body to get the second optional conversation.
Field Ops Log artefact collectible location
As you head up the stairs you will find another body. By this body is a document you can pick up.
Shiv Door 1 collectible location and supplements 1 collectible location
Once you have encountered your first Clicker and Tess shoots it, head into the following room and look to the left to find the Shiv door. Inside you can find some supplements on a shelf.
Supplements 2 collectible location
As you go back into the last room, next to where you need to pass through to progress, you will see another shelf with some supplements on it.
Supplements 3 collectible location
After you have passed the main group of enemies, you will crouch to get through a small gap in the building and pass a large sign embedded within the rubble. You will then need to head down a slope. But, before you do, walk along the small ledge above the slope to find some Supplements on the other side.
Supplements 4 collectible location
After you enter the subway, look on the phone booth immediately to your left to find some supplements.
Firefly Map artefact collectible location
After you grab the Molotov cocktail, you will see a corpse to the side. Next to it, you can pick up the artefact.
Note To Derek artefact collectible location
As you are exploring the subway with the Clickers and Runners, you will come across a shop on your left that you can enter. Inside it, in one of the drawers behind the counter, you can find the document.
Safe 1 collectible location
On the exact opposite side of the subway head into the other shop. Behind the counter, you will find a safe and you can use the code from the document to open it: 03-43-78.
Medical Pamphlet artefact collectible location
After you get outside, you will come across a building with three runners. Pull the dumpster outside to the truck and use it to climb over. Immediately turn around and go into the truck to find a document to pick up.
Supplements 5 collectible location
Once you get into the loading bay, look in the back of this truck to find a bottle of supplements.
Workbench 1 collectible location
Just to the right of those supplements in the van, you can find a workbench, which you can use.
Kiper’s Firefly pendant collectible location
As you enter the museum, you will walk up a broken section of the floor. Jump up to the small ledge on the left and shimmy along the wall to find a display case. Inside this case, there is a pendant.
Shiv Door 2 collectible location and supplements 6 collectible location
Once you enter the first floor of the museum on your own, head out the first door and into the small cafe on your left. Here you can find a shiv door which you can open. Inside, on a shelf, you can find a bottle of supplements.
Optional conversation 3 collectible location and optional conversation 4 collectible location
After the museum fight, talk to Tess who is resting by the window. This will get you another collectible. Immediately after this also take to Ellie to get the final conversation in this chapter.
Firefly Orders artefact collectible locaiton
After crossing the rooftops and going down the set of steps, look down the alley to the side of them to find a body. Sitting by the body, you can find a document.
Davidson’s Firefly pendant collectible location
Davidson’s pendant can be found once you enter the water outside the capitol building. Look in the large gazebo on the left side to find it in the water.
Supplements 7 collectible location
After you and Ellie go off on your own and climb the stairs, look on the lecture in the first room you enter. Here you can find some supplements. This is before you jump to the next building.
Supplements 8 collectible location
As you make your way through the combat section, before you head downstairs you will come across an office to the left of the hallway leading to the staircase. On the table in this office, you can find a bottle of supplements.
Supplements 9 collectable location
Once back down in the subway. After killing the two enemies, turn down the subway and look in the opposite direction of where you need to go. Here you can find a bottle of supplements.
Smuggler Note artefact collectible location
After you dive under the broken train carriage, you will see a large platform on the left where Ellie is standing. Here you can find a body with the artefact next to it.
Supplements 10 collectible location and Jiang’s Firefly pendant collectible location
Just to the left of that body, you can dive into some water to find a submerged side room. Once down here, return to the surface to find some supplements. From the supplements, swim into the submerged building within this area and look on the shelving to find the pendant against the leftmost wall.
