Fighting anyone capable of using the Force is not an easy task, but you’ve got to fight a High Republic Jedi. However, by finding out how to beat Dagan Gera in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, you’ll know exactly how to take him down. But, it won’t be an easy fight.
We had to defeat him during our Star Wars Jedi Survivor review, and while he was a challenge to beat, Cal’s various Star Wars Jedi Survivor stances made quick work of him in the end. How to beat Dagan Gera in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
To beat Dagan Gear in Star Wars Jedi Survivor you want to:
- Use the Dual Wield stance – this is the fastest way to keep up the pressure
- Parry until his stamina breaks – his attacks are fast so keep hitting that parry button. Once broken follow up with a flurry of your own attacks.
- Dodge his deadly unblockable attacks – This attack can do a lot of damage so dodge when Dagan flashes red as this attack can’t be parried
- Forgo the Force – Force powers do not work on Dagan Gera, so don’t use them.
We recommend using the Dual Wield stance. Since Dagan Gera attacks fast and easily blocks most of your attacks, waiting for an opening is the only course of action. Whenever he stumbles, due to his stamina breaking, you can attack with more hits when using Dual Wield.
Obviously, you can’t parry his red attacks or you’ll be using your stims frequently. We recommend dodging out of the way and waiting for him to return to normal attacks, instead of trying to attack him after he lands his red attacks. Also, due to Dagan being a Jedi, he’ll shrug off any Force powers.
Once he is almost defeated, you will trigger a cutscene and Dagan will narrowly escape just before you take him out. From there, you can head back to the nearest Meditation point and follow the main story objective or continue exploring Koboh.
