Rogue Legacy 2 joins PS Plus on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, according to developer Cellar Door Games.
In a recent statement from the developer, the upcoming PS4 and PS5 release “will feature Rogue Legacy 2’s final major update, the Swan Song, which delivers three new special game modes, three new Fabled weapons, and a new Boss encounter. Coupled with its prior Fabled Heroes update, the PlayStation release offers the defining experience for the genealogical rogue-lite.”
When it comes to Rogue Legacy 2’s brand-new game modes, new and returning players can expect the following modes to be included:
- True Rogue
- Thanatophobia
- Thana-two-phobia
Released in 2013, the first Rogue Legacy game entertainment players on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and laid down the foundations for the sequel’s addictive gameplay.
