RoboCop Rogue City Release Date
RoboCop Rogue City is set to release on November 2, 2023, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The game won’t be released on PS4 or Xbox One. Originally it was set to release in June 2023 and then September 2023, before being delayed at Gamescom 2023.
The game was announced in 2022 with a 2023 release date, so it seems like the game will hit that window, although it has already been delayed several times. Hopefully, it will hit the November date.
Robocop Rogue City Gameplay
RoboCop Rogue City’s gameplay trailer was showcased at Nacon Connect 2022.
The gameplay shows Old Detroit, some of the locations, and characters. We also get a small look at combat which appears to use some kind of targeting system, as well as abilities like being able to throw people and use objects in the environment to kill criminals and enemies.
The short gameplay trailer at Nacon Connect 2023 also gave us another look at the combat.
But, our best look at the game yet came from our own hands-on preview at Gamescom 2023. In our preview, Sam Comrie said “I’m hoping that the game doesn’t fall into a trap of repetitive gunfights. I’ve only explored one small facet of Detroit here, and despite those concerns, I’m eager to see what the [game] has in store.”
IGN preview video also showed off some of the gameplay mechanics like being able to lift up propane tanks, aim at enemies, and power through them with punches and the incredible force the walking hunk of steel is.
RoboCop Rogue City Story
Details about RoboCop Rogue City’s story are very light at the moment. However, you play as the hero after a new crime wave has been sweeping the streets of Old Detroit.
