Del Lago
Del Lago is the first boss you fight in the Resident Evil 4 remake. You will defeat it while on the lake, using the harpoon on the boat you are on. It is a tough fight and requires you to hold your nerve and aim steady to impale the creature.
El Gigante
El Gigante is found shortly after Del Lago when going after Ashley. It will bust through a large door as you return to the quarry area and you will need to hide in houses and defeat it. There is also extra assistance you can call upon if you saved the dog earlier on in the game after you heard it yelp.
Bitores Mendez
Mendez is one of your first major threats in the game and eventually it will come time to bring him down. His mutated form will completely demolish you so bring ammunition and firepower to take him out.
Garrador
The Garrador is a unique enemy, only appearing a few times throughout the game. Initially, it will chase you down a corridor under the castle and you will need to get behind it by being quiet to defeat it and shoot the weakspot on its back.
El Gigante Armored
After fighting El Gigante, when on the castle walls, you will fight another one, needing to take it out with a cannon. This is the major threat, alongside a number of other enemies, so be sure to aim steady and take it out so you can explore and progress.
Twin Garradors
The Twin Garradors appear once again a little later on in the castle. This time, there are a number of other enemies, however, as well. You will need to use stealth to guide the Garradors to around the room, so you can sneak away and shoot them in the back shot by shot, one at a time. Using other enemies’ attacks can also be a good strategy.
Verdugo
This tall-legged creature will chase you down the hallways of the ice-cold facility and you can either choose to freeze it to kill it or run past it all together to progress. It is one of the toughest foes in the game.
El Gigante & El Gigante Armored
Upon meeting back up with Luis, you will eventually fight El Gigante again, but this time he has bought his armoured buddy with him to cause you even more stress. While you can damage them and kill them normally, using the trap door and the console to drop them in the lava is the best option.
Krauser
Krauser will pop up shortly after the previous boss fight and taunt Leon. It is your job to use your knife, evasion skills, and parrying to take him down and get him to move on.
Ramon Salazar
Ramon Salazar is the king of the castle, taunting you ever since you have arrived. After Ashley gets taken onwards to the island, you will need to take down his disgusting Las Plagas mutated form from the ground as he moves around the arena, dropping gross pulsating spores and generally being a nuisance.
Mutated Krauser
On the island, Krauser will challenge Leon one last time, first with a combat challenge where he will jump up and out of the arena, shooting from afar and coming back down to challenge him to a knife fight. Additionally, he will then mutate and have a deadly arm that can kill you in one or two hits so you will need your knife and some strong weapons to avoid being skewered.
Saddler
Finally, after all of the bosses so far, you will find yourself against Saddler who is a huge beast on top of a large mechanical structure. By shooting the eyeballs you can take him out and end the plans to spread the Las Plagas virus around the world.
That covers all the Resident Evil 4 bosses. As you can see they are quite similar to the original but a number of these fights have been changed or shaken up for the modern version of the game. To beat them, you will need some of the best Resident Evil 4 remake weapons, which can be found in our Resident Evil 4 walkthrough article.
