Rainbow Six Siege is coming to Xbox Games Pass and Android via cloud

After a cryptic, yet fairly obvious tweet, Microsoft has finally announced Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be coming to Xbox Games Pass Ultimate and cloud gaming on Android from October 22. Ubisoft games are few and far between on Games Pass due to Ubisoft’s Uplay service, so fans are pleased to see Siege is getting included in the pass soon.

Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first-person shooter PVP game in which you choose exactly how you want to approach each obstacle and enemy with numerous skills and gadgets at your disposal. Siege has a hugely active professional esports scene and over 60 million registered players.

In the five years since Siege released Ubisoft has greatly supported the game with numerous updates, additional features, and many maps. It was also included in our best multiplayer PS4 games list this year. If you need even more incentive to give Siege a try, players can expect a free next-gen upgrade when heading over to Xbox Series X or S and PlayStation 5.

To be honest, we hope Microsoft starts announcing all of its Games Pass titles via cryptic tweets, as the teaser image for Rainbow Six Siege was spot on.
