NieR Replicant – PS4
NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is the remastered version of the original 2010 game exclusive to Japan on PS3 and Xbox 360. With the massive success of the sequel, NieR Automata, this is your chance to dive into the equally compelling prequel.
Star Ocean The Divine Force – PS5, PS4
Star Ocean The Divine Force is an action-RPG and the sixth entry in the popular Star Ocean series. Boasting an intriguing narrative, fun characters, and fast combat, Star Ocean is a good pick up even if you haven’t played the previous entries in the series, given the substantial time-skip.
13 Sentinels Aegis Rim – PS4
13 Sentinels Aegis Rim 2.5D side-scroller with stunning visuals and a unique time-bending narrative involving mechs fighting kaiju in a desperate attempt to save the world. It won’t be for everyone but there’s a lot to enjoy here.
Sid Meier’s Civilization VI – PS4
Civilization VI is one of the strongest instalments in the iconic turn-based strategy game. With incredibly deep gameplay, Civ VI can be tricky to get into, but once you’ve given it a taste, it’s hard to put it down. It’s certainly a good one to give a go once it arrives as one of the Extra and Premium games for September.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 – PS5, PS4
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a tactical stealth shooter and the most challenging entry in the acclaimed series so far, with incredibly long-range sniping. You’ll play as Raven, an assassin embarking on a series of tough missions in the Middle East to topple a criminal syndicate.
Unpacking – PS5, PS4
Unpacking is an award-winning indie puzzle game involving unpacking possessions out of moving boxes to fit them into a new home. While this might sound rather boring, it’s an interesting puzzle with a great narrative to boot. Given how the narrative is conveyed, it’s a good idea to go in knowing as little as possible; you won’t regret it.
