If you’re wondering how the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet multiplayer co-op mode works, then you can rest easy. Read on below to find out everything we know about what to expect when you boot the game up.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet co-op multiplayer explained
Pokémon Scarlet multiplayer and Pokémon Violet will have co-op multiplayer functionality completely, which is a first for the series. This will allow up to four of you to group up and explore the world of Paldea together.
To play in co-op, you first have to head to Union Circle. Once there, you will be able to invite up to three other players to join your game’s co-op session. Once everyone has joined your game, you can explore Paldea and battle the wild Pokémon that roam the region. Your party can also take part in Raid Battles together and collect Terastal Pokemon – the new Pokemon unique to Scarlet and Violet.
Co-op is fully functional throughout the experience. Although, with the technical issues both Scarlet and Violet have you may experience performance stutters and issues while playing. So, you won’t necessarily be in for a completely flawless running experience, much like playing the game alone.
