Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Eevee Tera Raid event has arrived

A weekend of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Eevee Tera Raids has arrived for the new games' first live event, letting trainers catch Eevees with any Tera Type

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Eevee Tera Raid: An Eevee with a fiery crown made of crystals on its head

The first Tera Raid live event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is here, only a week after the buggy but massively-popular new games launched. Eevee is the star for this event, and players can hop into the Paldea region to take on the iconic Pokémon which can now come with various Tera types.

Currently, Eevee Tera Raids of varying difficulties are springing up across Paldea, ranging from easy one-star raids to more challenging five-star raids (make sure you’re bringing the best Pokémon Scarlet and best Pokémon Violet ‘mons into those). Eevee will be popping up with all 18 types as a potential Tera Type, so this will be the only way to get an Eevee with the corresponding Tera Type for a future evolution (e.g. Ice Tera type for a Glaceon, Fire Tera type for a Flareon, etc.) as all wild ones will have the Normal Tera Type.

Even if you’re not interested in catching the perfect specimen for an Eeveelution, battling in those higher difficulty Eevee raids is well worth it, as there are some boosted drop rates for desirable items like Nuggets, Bottle Caps, and Ability Capsules, as is pointed out by Pokémon YouTuber ‘Austin John Plays’ below.

If you’re scouring your map looking for one of these limited-time Eevee Tera Raids, look out for Tera Raid markers that have a pulsating glow around them. They will also look different to other Tera Raids in the overworld too.

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Eevee event is not around for long though, so you’ll have to be quick – Eevee Tera Raids will end on November 27.

Just a few days later though the next limited-time Tera Raid event will begin, with players able to catch a Charizard in a gruelling seven-star difficulty raid.
