PS Plus October 2021 predictions, leaks, and rumours

PlayStation Plus October 2021 games: all the leaks and rumours so far and our guesses as to what might be included in the lineup

A soldier stands overlooking a battlefield.

PlayStation Plus’ October 2021 free games will be revealed at the end of September and they will likely offer a great selection of games on both PS5 and PS4. But, ahead of the announcement, a leak has emerged, revealing the lineup for the month.

2021 has been an excellent year for PS Plus games with consistent new releases coming to the service again and again. This trend looks set to continue in October with a brand new game releasing onto the service.

Right here, we will discuss all the leaks and rumours for PlayStation Plus’ October 2021 lineup and give our PS Plus October 2021 predictions as well. One of those predictions includes a brand new game which has now been all but confirmed will launch into the service on October 5, 2021, with Sony set to announce this coming week.

The PlayStation Plus October 2021 games have been confirmed by Sony as the following titles:

  • Hell Let Loose (PS5)
  • Mortal Kombat X (PS4)
  • PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4)

All three of these games will be available from October 5, 2021.

While October 2021’s PS Plus free games lineup has been confirmed yet, we have some pretty good guesses as to the lineup with one correct prediction.

Hell let Loose (PS5)

This multiplayer shooter has been getting a big push on PS5, with an open beta available for everyone for a few days. Set to release on the first Tuesday of October, Hell Let Loose would make a good new release for PS Plus.

The service would give the game an in-built playerbase and hopefully ensure the shooter gets off to a good start on consoles!

Yakuza Kiwami 2 (PS4)

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the continuation of Kiryu’s adventure, this time remastered and enhanced for modern platforms. With enhanced visuals, an improved frame rate, and the inclusion of fan-favourite mini-games and activities, Yakuza Kiwami 2 would make a perfect addition to the PlayStation Plus line-up.

The main Soul of Cinder boss can be seen.

Dark Souls 3 (PS4)

Dark Souls 3 is the conclusion to the trilogy and features all of the trademark features fans have come to know from the franchise. Epic boss battles, tons of weapons and armor, and the chance to revisit locations from across the Dark Souls series.

The experience is a great way to prep yourself for Elden Ring in January and it will allow you to hone your skills before you take on a cavalcade of new threats in FromSoftware’s next game.

Currently, you can get three games on PlayStation Plus as a part of the September 2021 line-up of free games.

These games are:

  • Overcooked! All You Can Eat (PS5)
  • Hitman 2 (PS4)
  • Predator: Hunting Grounds (PS4)

All of these games will be available until October 5, 2021, and you can read more about the September PS Plus games here.
