Our bright orange friends working on our sister site PCGamesN have just launched a new app for Overwolf, and we figured that there’s enough of you out there who play on PC that it is worth letting you know about it.
The PC Games News app for Overwolf is your one-stop-shop for all things related to PC gaming. The app, which you can only download through Overwolf, runs in the background and whenever you boot up a supported game, the app will serve up a selection of the latest news and guides related to that title.
And that’s not even the best bit! The PC Games News app will even update you if a story is published on PCGamesN while you’re playing via a discrete in-game notification (don’t worry, it won’t disturb your attempt to climb the League of Legends ranks). The app works with both single and dual-screen configurations, and it’s completely free to download!
If you’re unfamiliar with Overwolf, it’s a PC platform that supports a number of popular games, including the likes of Fortnite, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, and Among Us. Apps vary in purpose, but you can track your stats, capture gameplay, manage your mods, and even train your aim.
