Marvel’s Midnight Suns rated in Australia ahead of Summer Games Fest

Marvel's Midnight Suns has been rated in Australia for multiple platforms ahead of its 2022 release and Summer Games Fest in June

Marvel's Midnight Suns Rating Rated: Ghost Rider can be seen using his chain and Captain Marvel and Blade can be seen standing in a warehouse.

It has been six months since we have heard about 2K and Firaxis’ tactical Marvel adventure Marvel’s Midnight Suns. However, ahead of Summer Games Fest next month, Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been rated in Australia, suggesting we could have an update in just a few weeks.

The rating, which appeared on the official Australian game ratings page of the Australian government’s website, lists the game as M for a moderate impact. This rating signals that the game “contains mature themes and supernatural violence”. It also confirms that the game will have in-game purchases, which seemingly goes back on previous comments from Firaxis that the game will not have microtransactions.

Although, these in-game purchases may not be gameplay related. They could also just be alternate ways to obtain pre-order bonuses and various other items that are offered in the editions of the game.

So far though, 2K hasn’t announced a showcase for Summer Games Fest this year. Therefore, it could show up at the kickoff event Geoff Keighley is hosting or the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. Midnight Suns was originally revealed at the Geoff Keighley-hosted Gamescom Opening Night Live last August.

Either way, it looks like an update is finally near for the game. Currently, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is scheduled for the second half of 2022, so it will likely release sometime later this Summer or in the Fall.
