Metal Hellsinger’s demo reaches 1 million downloads, becomes a hit FPS

After releasing earlier this month, Metal Hellsinger's demo has reached 1 million downloads and cemented itself as one of the most anticipated FPS games

Metal Hellsinger Demo 1 Millions Downloads: The player can be seen firing revolvers at an enemy.

Metal Hellsinger has become a smashing success in less than two weeks after players got to check out an early demo for the rhythm FPS. And, 11 days after the demo went live, the game’s developer, The Outsiders, has announced that more than 1 million people have downloaded the head-thumping demo on either PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.

The demo which features just one level from the full game has become a new hit on both Twitch and YouTube with streamers and content creators sharing their playthroughs and scores, which is a good sign for the full release.

That full release will see a full campaign and challenge mode, as well as a number of original songs from hit artists, including Tatiana Shmayluk from Jinjer, Serj Tankian from System of a Down, and Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquility.

Alongside the release of the demo on June 9 during Summer Game Fest, pre-orders went live and are now available on all the platforms mentioned above ahead of the game’s September 15 release. If you do pre-order, you will also get access to the game 48 hours earlier!

The success of the game ahead of launch definitely suggests that it will be able to stand out during a busy September season of releases. We have also been checking the demo out and slowly getting addicted to its gripping action. If you haven’t already given it a try, the demo is still available on current-gen consoles and PC.
