Though it seems like it was only yesterday that we had the last Amazon Prime Day, it’s back again already with a new name: the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale. Of course, as soon as we heard, we went to have a sniff around to see if there were any appealing gaming deals to share with you all. We found that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of Madden NFL 23 are 36% off, and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are 42% off making now the ideal time to add it to your collection.
Fans of the series may be wary after the last few Madden NFL games, but this one boasts a lot of improvements over previous instalments. The AI has been significantly improved, making your CPU opponents feel much more real, meanwhile there are added mechanics (like an accuracy metre or passing) which help to refine the overall experience by quite a lot.
Meanwhile, as the first game in the series to be released after the death of John Madden in 2021, this game features a John Madden Legacy Game mode. This includes a recreation of the Oakland Coliseum from the 1970s, and features both AFC and NFC teams – each with their own versions of John Madden as a coach.
