League of Legends’ new PROJECT event features seven new skins

League of Legends has its fair share of alternate universes outside of the confines of the Runeterra we know and love. Be it the celestial Star Guardians, or the denizens of the ol’ High Noon Western, there is an aesthetic niche for everyone.

However, few are as iconic as LoL’s PROJECT universe, which just so happens to be the setting for the MOBA game’s next event. PROJECT: Bastion will have players band together to battle against the PROGRAM virus’ latest big bad – and yes, there are lots of shiny new cyberpunk-fueled skins to pick up for your favourite champions.

Although Riot has long since abandoned creating dedicated game modes for each event, some may be thrilled to know that Nexus Blitz is back for the duration. Additionally, as is standard for events like these, there’s a new PROJECT Event Pass, which promises a slew of borders, icons, emotes, and other loot if you rack up enough tokens.

But what about the skins? Well, if you’re a fan of Mordekaiser, Renekton, Sylas, Sejuani, Senna, and Varus, then there’s something here for you. Additionally, there will be two Prestige skins up for grabs – one for Sylas, and one for an unannounced classic PROJECT skin. You can check out the splash arts and concept art released so far below.

PROJECT: Bastion is set to run from May 27 until June 28, covering patches 11.11, 11.12, and 11.13.
