If you have a PSVR 2 headset on the way, here's what you need to know about the Horizon Call of the Mountain release time and when you can get stuck into it.

Horizon Call of the Mountain release time: an image of Aloy in front of a blurred image of the VR game

We all know there’s a lot of fun to be had playing through Aloy’s adventures on PlayStation consoles, and exploring the detailed world of Horizon Forbidden West, but Horizon Call of the Mountain on PSVR 2 promises players the most immersive experience yet. If you’re looking forward to throwing yourself into this post-apocalypitc world head-first, we have everything you need to know about the Horizon Call of the Mountain release time right here.

We might have known about the Horizon Call of the Mountain release date for some time, but you’ll be pleased to know it looks like the Horizon Call of the Mountain release time is going to be 21:00 PST on February 21 and 00:00 EST / 00:00 GMT on February 22 – essentially, it’s available midnight local time everywhere outside the PST time zone. This information was sourced from the PlayStation store page for the PSVR 2 game.

Now, Horizon Call of the Mountain might not be developed by HZD and HFW developer Guerrilla Games, but that doesn’t mean you should skip out on it. From what we’ve seen so far, this game is going to throw you into an epic adventure set in the Horizon universe and you’re certain to recognise a face or two from the open world games.

For example, you’re going to see Aloy in-game – just from the other side of things. Horizon Call of the Mountain will have you playing as a new character named Ryas – a Carja.

You’re also going to find yourself going toe-to-toe with the untamed wild and the wild machines that roam it. Expect to make use of a variety of bows, climbing tools, explosives, and quite a bit of luck, as you work out just why the machines are attacking a little more than they should.
