Hogwarts Legacy how to get a mount
You’ll unlock the ability to use mounts during the ‘The High Keep’ quest in Hogwarts Legacy, where you get to use Highwing as a mount.
Highwing is a Hippogriff that you meet earlier in the game, during one of the Hogwarts Legacy classes and lessons, specifically the Beasts class. After the above mission, which is part of the Hogwarts Legacy main quests, you’ll be able to use Highwing in the open world. You can also swap to the Thestral if you pre-ordered the game.
That’s how to get a mount in Hogwarts Legacy and everything to know about Hogwarts Legacy mounts. If you’re hoping to find the rest of the beasts in the game, you’ll definitely want to learn all Hogwarts Legacy spells to help you survive in the wilds. Hogwarts Legacy has drawn considerable criticism during its development, largely due to the fact that the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has made a number of transphobic remarks on social media in recent years.
While Avalanche has confirmed that J.K. Rowling is not “directly involved” in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, it is working with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. label dedicated to launching new experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories. It is currently unclear whether she will earn any royalties from the game’s sale, but it is likely given it is based on her original body of work.
