Genshin Impact 3.8 release date: Kokomi

When is the Genshin Impact 3.8 release date? Genshin Impact 3.8 is widely expected to be the final major Sumeru update prior to the Traveller’s arrival in Fontaine. Throughout Sumeru we’ve been treated to a healthy helping of fresh Genshin Impact characters – many of them take top spots on our Genshin Impact tier list. But will we get new characters, possibly from Fontaine, to bridge the two regions in the upcoming Genshin Impact version? And when will the Genshin 3.8 release date arrive? Read on to find out the latest confirmations and rumours regarding content coming to the RPG game.

The Genshin Impact 3.8 banner will feature five-star characters Eula and Klee in Phase One, and Kokomi and Wanderer in Phase Two.

You can see the reveal for yourself at 9:12 in the above 3.8 livestream VOD.

In the four-star department, it’s currently unclear who we’ll be seeing on the upcoming Genshin Impact banner. However, recent leaks from ‘Mero’ and ‘Genshin Universe’ – both of which are considered reliable sources within the community – have offered a list for each phase.

As per Mero, the Phase One four-star characters are Mika, Razor, and Thoma. Phase Two, meanwhile, will see Faruzan, Rosaria, and Yanfei join the banner. Of course, these are unconfirmed leaks, so take them with a huge pinch of salt.

Genshin Impact 3.8 new area

HoYoverse confirmed that a new area called the Veluriyam Mirage will be made available to players in Genshin Impact 3.8. The towering trees of the Mirage house numerous carnival-esque activities, while the addition of the Choo-Choo Cart – which doubles as a rollercoaster – can ferry you around the place in style.

‘Mero’ previously shared what could be the full map of the new area, which you can check out below.
