The Genshin Impact 3.0 release time is finally upon us, and developer HoYoverse will soon put the hit ARPG into maintenance mode so the team can get to work deploying the game’s exciting new Sumeru update.
Finally, players will be able to explore the new region in all its glory, while hoovering up Primogems to wish on the Genshin Impact banner. The studio recently confirmed that, alongside new character Tighnari and Geo Archon Zhongli, Collei, Diona, and Fischl will be the four-star additions to the Phase 1 banners.

The Genshin Impact 3.0 release time is 20:00 PT / 23:00 ET on August 23, and 04:00 BST on August 24. HoYoverse says that the game will enter maintenance at 15:00 PT / 18:00 ET / 23:00 BST on August 23, and the update should take five hours.
Of course, five hours is a long time to wait to hop back into Teyvat, so HoYoverse is sweetening the deal with 300 compensatory Primogems, though only for those who reach Adventure Rank 5 (or above) before the servers go down.
