The hardest collectible to find in Forza Horizon 5‘s new DLC are the XP bonus boards which are back from the main game. Thankfully, there are no fast travel boards and compared to the hundreds in the main game, there are just 25 here. So, this guide will help you out when it comes to finding them and show you all the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels XP Board locations.
The boards are scattered throughout the Ice Cauldron, Forest Falls, and Giant’s Canyon pretty evenly, but there is also a rogue board that can be found at the central Horizon Nexus. They are all located off the Hot Wheels tracks and on the islands as well!

Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels XP Board locations
There are 25 Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels XP Board locations throughout the map in the following areas:
Horizon Nexus XP Board Locations
XP Board 1 location
This XP Board can be found right by the crowds at the Horizon Nexus. It is almost impossible to miss once you arrive at the central platform.
Forest Falls XP Board Locations
XP Board 2 location
The first XP Board in Forest Falls can be found in the centre of the platform, towards the north. Hop off the track at the nearest point (showcased by orange track markings on the map) and look on a hillside amongst some trees at the edge of the platform.
XP Board 3 location
The next XP Board can be found in the far west of Forest Falls. Hop off the track in the south, and drive along the hillside to find the board in amongst some trees.
XP Board 4 location
The next XP Board location is just to the northeast of the last one. Head down, off the hill from the last board and go into the water to find the board.
XP Board 5 location
The fifth XP board is northeast of the last one again. Hop off the track at the sharp L bend and you will be able to drive to it within the river, on the land.
XP Board 6 location
To grab the sixth board, you will need to hop off the track in the far north of Forest Falls. Then, head south and at the top of the waterfall you can find the board.
XP Board 7 location
From the last board, drop all the way down to the bottom of the waterfall to get the next XP Board.
XP Board 8 location
The next board can be found all the way in the east. Drive off the track in the south of Forest Falls, and make your way down the waterfalls, until you find the board tucked under a stream of water.
XP Board 9 location
To grab the eighth board you need to drive off the track in the northern section, above the large waterfall mentioned in the seventh XP Board location. Follow the rivers and waterfalls that snake around the northeast until you reach a large open plain with water and greenery and the XP board.
XP Board 10 location
From the last board, continue all the way around to the edge of the platform in the southeast. On the grey supporting beams, you can drive through the XP Board.
Giant’s Canyon XP Board Locations
XP Board 11 location
The next XP Board location can be found in the north of the Giant’s Canyon. Hop off the track at the spot before it curves vertically. Look in amongst a pool of water to find the XP Board by some small plants and rocks in there.
XP Board 12 location
To find the next board, head slightly south, along the sandy canyon to find the board sitting in the middle of the road. It’s a super easy one to get!
XP Board 13 location
Head south for the next XP Board. Next to two loop-the-loops and a huge junction of tracks, you can find it in-between a large canyon. Drive off the canyon to the bottom to find the board.
XP Board 14 location
Fast travel back up to the top of the cliff and make your way southeast of where you were. Here you can find another board on the cliff this time.
XP Board 15 location
From there, drive down to the canyon and head east. Follow it around until you get to a large, dark part of the canyon. Here, you can find the board tucked in the corner.
XP Board 16 location
From there, travel all the way to the cliff edge in the east of the Canyon. Drive down to the lower level of the platform, off the cliffs to find another board below.
XP Board 17 location
Head all the way to the south of the island and you will find the XP Board sat on a large, relatively flat hillside. You can access it from one of the pieces of track on either side of the hill.
Ice Cauldron XP Board Locations
XP Board 18 location
The first XP board in the Ice Cauldron can be found in the northwest corner of the platform. It is right off a piece of track, in amongst some snow.
XP Board 19 location
The next board is southeast, sitting on the top of a large cliff. Head across the ice in the opposite direction of the first board in the Ice Cauldron and do not drop down. Eventually, you will see the board on the top of the cliff.
XP Board 20 location
Next, skip to the east of the platform and hop off the track when multiple paths connect in the south. Here you can find an XP Board sitting by one of the bubbling pools of Lava, just north of where you exit the track.
XP Board 21 location
The following XP Board is right by. Head southwest slightly and go behind a glacier to see it tucked behind some ice.
XP Board 22 location
The next XP Board location is just south of the last one. It is on a piece of slippery ice, right in the centre of the open part of the land, near some supporting poles for the tracks above.
XP Board 23 location
Head slightly south and look behind another one of the large ice glaciers to find the next board.
XP Board 24 location
The next XP Board can be found on the bridge connecting the bridge that goes across the southernmost lava pool.
XP Board 25 location
The last XP Board location on the map can be found in the far southeast corner of the Ice Cauldron. Hop off the track north and drive around the large rocks to find the board sitting by some smaller rocks.
