How to get Clean Racing skills in Forza Horizon 5

For new players, working out how to earn Clean Racing skills can be tricky in Forza Horizon 5, but we've got you covered.

Forza Horizon 5 Clean Racing Skills: multiple cars can be seen racing through a festival location.

While grinding Accolades or going after daily challenges that regularly pop up, you are going to come across Forza Horizon 5 Clean Racing skills. While most skills, like Air, Wreckage, and Burnouts, are fairly straightforward and easy to accrue while cruising in the open world, Clean Racing skills aren’t quite as obvious.

So, how do you get Clean Racing skills in Forza Horizon 5, as the racing game doesn’t exactly describe and explain them to you out the gate?

Forza Horizon 5 Clean Racing skills

Clean Racing skills in Forza Horizon 5 can be earned by driving and not crashing for an extended period of time, but only during race events. These cannot be earned while driving around Mexico, unlike other skills.

In order to earn a Clean Racing skill, you can’t bump into any opponents during any races, crash into any barriers, or hit obstacles like buildings and trees. You will have to drive for around five seconds without hitting anything to trigger the Clean Racing skill.

So, if you’re consciously trying to rack up Clean Racing skills in a race event, make sure you take corners cautiously so that you don’t overshoot and hit barriers, back off from large packs of cars all trying to jostle for position, and resist the urge to use your fellow competitors as additional braking!

That covers how to earn Clean Racing skills in Forza Horizon 5. So, if the requirement pops up in a Series event or daily challenge, you’re now totally covered.
