If you like battling B-1 Battle Droids and going toe-to-toe with enemies in Breakwater Bay, you might be pleased to know that new leaks seem to suggest that the upcoming Fortnite Star Wars skins might just be more ‘Order 66’ than ‘Jedi Survivor’. That’s right, we could very well be getting Clone Troopers in Epic Games’ battle royale Fortnite.
Now, we want to make it absolutely clear that this is a theory – and not confirmation – that the Fortnite Star Wars skins we’re waiting for are going to be Clone Troopers. However, when you think about what we know so far, it’s really not a stretch to think that we could be seeing Kamino’s finest in Fortnite soon. This is one of the best battle royale games out there, after all.
Anyway, why do we think we’re going to be seeing some ‘clanka killers’ in Fortnite soon? Well, Fortnite leaker ‘GMatrixGames’ has taken to Twitter to suggest that “there will be a ‘PlotTwist Low Power Rapid’ rifle” coming to the battle royale alongside the new Star Wars skins. This is expected to be something similar to the E-11 Blaster (the Stormtrooper gun) we’ve seen before and a Pulse Rifle.
This, as you can see on this Reddit thread, has led a lot of Fortnite fans to believe that we’re getting a DC-15S blaster – which does look quite a lot like an E-11 – in Fortnite. For context, this is the standard issue blaster rifle used by Clone Troopers.

Of course, though, this is a little bit of a stretch – so, take it with a pinch of salt. However, when you think about the fact that these skins are codenamed “PlotTwist” and the fact that Order 66 is easily one of the most famous plot twists in the franchise – if not pop culture – it’s easy to connect the dots.
We know you might be sitting there thinking that the new Fortnite Star Wars bundle may just be Jedi Survivor’s Cal Kestis – and, with the Star Wars Jedi Survivor release date coming up, you wouldn’t be foolish to think that. However, the evidence above does lend itself more to a Clone Trooper than Cal – more Order 66 than Jedi Survivor. However, we could be wrong. Or, we could see a Clone Trooper and Cal Kestis. We know Star Wars Jedi Survivor will see Clone Wars villains return, so we could very-well see some retired Clone Troopers out there – or more Clone Wars flashbacks.
We’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?
