- Phoenix Materia: It’s inside the water tank in front of Nibelheim’s Inn. You can find it while you go through the Seven Wonders of Nibelheim quest which you get a hint from a boy near the Inn. Prerequisite: Reach Chapter 8.
- Chocobo Feather: Complete Mission “M8-4-1: Suspicious Mail 1” to gain the materia as a reward. Prerequisite: Reach Chapter 4.
- Cactus Thorn: Complete Mission “M10-1-3: Cactuar Found?” to gain the item as a reward. Prerequisite: Defeat Kactuar in Mission “M3-1-3: Eliminate the Copies” and complete Missions “M10-1-2: Kactuar?”
- Tonberry’s Knife: Complete Mission “M10-2-3: Master Tonberry” to gain the item as a reward. Prerequisite: Eliminate Tonberry in Mission “M6-1-5: Buried in the Caverns” and complete Mission “M10-2-2: Tonberries Everywhere.”

- Magic Pot Tricks: Find Magic Pot in one of the random encounters during mission “M2-2-6: World of Monsters” and use Firaga, Blizaga, Thundaga, and Gravity as requested by them to complete the fight and gain the item as a reward. Prerequisite: Must use the exact attacks in the order requested by Magic Pot.
