You can no longer get the Flashback Umtiti card in FIFA 22 because the limited-time SBC challenge has now expired.
The Flashback SBC in FIFA 22 featured Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti. While there were already a host of popular French centre-backs in FIFA 22, such as Raphael Varane, Maxence Lacroix, and Jules Kounde, this Flashback Umtiti card was useful if you were looking to create a hybrid team using other La Liga players.
This 85-rated Umtiti card boasted much more desirable stats than his underwhelming, 80-rated base card, and harkened back to past FIFAs where Umtiti was one of the most popular centre-backs in Ultimate Team.
To get your hands on this card in one of the best sports games of yesteryear on PS5 and Xbox, there was an SBC set for you to complete. In the Flashback Umtiti SBC set you had to submit five different squads. These ranged in difficulty and cost to complete, so we were on hand to guide you through how to work through them with the cheapest solutions.

Here is how we solved the Flashback Umtiti SBC in the cheapest, most effective way possible.
Gold Squad
An easy SBC where you could dump any untradeable common Gold cards.
Rare Gold Squad
Most players had plenty of untradeable Rare Gold players to chuck into this. If not, you would have needed to buy a few from the Transfer Market. There were dozens of players you’d be able to snipe or bid on for 700 coins.
Blaugrana
For this, we recommended making a standard LaLiga team, as there were a lot of cheap high-rated players in this league such as 85-rated Oyarzabal. You also needed one FC Barcelona player, and the cheapest options that helped push up that squad rating were 82-rated Clement Lenglet (750-1,000 coins), and 84-rated Gerard Pique (around 2,000 coins).
Past and Present
Once again, we recommended building a LaLiga team here, with cheap high-rated players like Oyarzabal and Parejo being good options for bringing up your squad rating. For the Ligue 1 player, Spanish left-back Bernat was a smart pick, as he was high-rated and his nationality linked with a lot of LaLiga players to help with chemistry.
Les Bleus
For this 85-rated squad, you needed lots of cheap high-rated players all from the same league, with a French player thrown in. A Bundesliga side worked well, with cheap options like Andre Silva, Koen Casteels, and Mats Hummels. Bayern Munich’s French left-back Lucas Hernandez was also an affordable 83-rated player who ticked your French box.
Depending on how many players you had in your club, you likely didn’t spend any more than 50,000 coins on this SBC – and to be honest, spending more than that probably didn’t represent good value for that Flashback Umtiti card anyhow.
