Escape From Tarkov has been in beta for what feels like eternity. The looter shooter game first graced our screens back in 2017, with pre-order bundles for the full game – which are required to gain access to the beta – accompanying it. Now, for a limited time only, developer Battlestate Games has decided to shave a few bucks off the price.
From August 3 at 14:01 PT / 17:01 ET / 22:01 BST until August 6 at 13:59 PT / 16:59 ET / 21:59 BST, new and existing players will be able to pre-order or upgrade their existing packages for a cut price. According to the tweet posted to the official Tarkov page, the Standard, Left Behind, and Prepare for Escape editions are all 15% off. The Edge of Darkness Limited Edition, meanwhile, gets an extra snip at 20% off.
For those looking to upgrade their existing packages, there are savings in store for you, too. All pre-order package upgrades come in at a cool 15% off. Players should also note that the “permanent discount for the purchase of several pre-orders as a gift will not be summed with the holiday discounts.”
Here’s how the prices come out post-savings.
- Standard Edition: $38.25 / €29.74
- Left Behind Edition: $63.75 / €49.29
- Prepare for Escape Edition: $85 / €67.99
- The Edge of Darkness Limited Edition: $112 ($119 if upgrading) / €87.99 (€93.49 if upgrading)
Suffice to say, now is a great time to either jump into Tarkov, or snag those extra pre-order goodies if you’ve been waiting for prices to drop.
