Dragon Ball has seen many games come and go over the years. From giant, expansive RPGS to competitive fighting games. But, Bandai’s latest game in the franchise is extremely unique, with a multiplayer focus. But, what do we know about the game ahead of the Dragon Ball: The Breakers release date.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is being brought to virtually every platform by Dimps and will focus on cooperative and competitive asymmetrical multiplayer. How does all of that work you might ask? Well, thankfully we have seen a decent amount of the game, to the point where we can piece together how it works.

Dragon Ball The Breakers’ release date is set for October 14, 2022, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

This means it will be released right in the middle of an absolutely packed season for games. However, if the work has been put in to make it interesting and unique it should be able to hold its own, especially as it is one of the only anime games based on a hit franchise to release this year.

Dragon Ball The Breakers Gameplay

The gameplay of Dragon Ball The Breakers is split into one of two teams. If you are a survivor, you will be tasked with surviving against the Raider. You will need to loot items, hide in buildings, and build up your Dragon Gauge.

Building this up will allow you to transform into heroes and fight back against the Raiders, a little bit. Your overall goal though is to speed up and get the Time Machine working, so you can escape and win.

If you are a Raider, you are extremely overpowered, capable of wiping out the Survivors easily. And, your goal is to do that or to destroy enough land to keep them from hiding so they are forced out from their safe spots.

Dragon Ball Thre Breakers Network Test

A network test for Dragon Ball The Breakers will take place between August 5 – August 7, with multiple sessions held at different times, allowing everyone to play no matter where they are in the world.

The network test will allow everyone to get involved if you have access and really flex the game’s systems ahead of the release date. To sign up, you can do so via the Bandai Namco website here.
