Snipers are always some of the best Warzone 2 guns, and the Victus XMR is no exception. While it might feature on our best Warzone 2 sniper rifle list, that’s due to competition for top spots being so tight, not the weapon being weak. In fact, with this build you can pretty much take down enemies across the Warzone 2 map in one shot.
Best Warzone 2 Victus XMR loadout
While we’ve trialled a few different builds – both from our own experimentation and through consulting what the best of the best are taking – the best Warzone 2 Victus XMR loadout right now, in our opinion, comes from content creator ‘Coltonpro96’:
- Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops
- Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
- Stock: XRK Rise 50
- Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive
- Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x
Coltonpro96’s build throws handling to the wind in favour of maximising the one-shot potential of this gun. Starting off at the muzzle end we have the Bruen Counter-Ops which smooths out some of the Victus’ recoil, and bolsters bullet velocity.
Next up is the barrel of choice: the Mack 8 33.5 Super. This barrel boosts both damage range and bullet velocity, ensuring you’ll be dealing maximum damage from afar. To keep you nice and mobile, while giving back some of the ADS speed lost from the muzzle and barrel, slap on the XRK Rise 50 stock.
According to Coltonpro96, the real meat of the loadout comes from its ammunition. The .50 Cal Explosive rounds. When tuned to max out bullet velocity and damage range, these rounds will eviscerate enemies – and they’re pretty darn handy for picking people out of vehicles, too.
Of course, you can’t have a long-range build without a proper optic to do the job. Here the creator opts for either the SP-X 80 6.6x or the Luca Bandera Scope. Depending on how flexible you like your magnification, either is a solid choice.

Running a sniper alone is a dangerous game, unless of course you manage to snag a decent second primary option from a felled opponent before you pick up your loadout. Naturally, we’d recommend taking the Weapons Specialist perk package to gain access to Overkill, as well as some other handy perks that’ll help you out in Al Mazrah.
