09/03/2023 New information about the Shredder bundle coming to Warzone 2 and MW2 has been released. The text of this article has been updated to reflect that.
We might not be convinced that the Heroes in a Half Shell would survive a stint in Al Mazrah, but Call of Duty has just revealed that Shredder – the heavily-armoured supervillain from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) – is coming to Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 as a new operator. There had been whisperings that a licensed collaboration was expected to arrive during Season 2, but we certainly didn’t have our money on Master Splinter’s arch nemesis.
Whether you’re a fan of Mikey, Leo, Raph, or even Donny (he’s our favourite), you might want to know when the Shredder TMNT skin and operator bundle is dropping for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Don’t worry, though, as that’s something we can help with. The release date for the Shredder TMNT bundle in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 is March 21 – so, it’s really not that far away.
How do we know this? Well, it’s the date that’s at the end of this rather obvious teaser trailer on the Call of Duty social media channels. As you can see for yourself below, this teaser isn’t leaving too much to anyone’s imagination when it comes to showcasing what this upcoming cosmetic is going to be; it’s very obviously going to be Shredder from TMNT.
The one thing it doesn’t tell us, though, is what weapons we’re going to get in the Shredder TMNT operator bundle. However, this Call of Duty blog post has revealed just that – well, sort of.
“This Bundle comes with three Weapon Blueprints, all based on the new weapons from the Season 02 Battle Pass. The first is the “Oroku” Shotgun, which takes the definition of shredding to a whole new level at close range. The other ranged weapon is the “Saki” Assault Rifle, quick on the draw and ready to handle any threats at short- to midrange. And, of course, Shredder does not show up to battle without his “Steel Claws” [for the Dual Kodachi swords].”

These are some of the best Warzone 2 guns right now, so we certainly won’t complain about getting a new weapon blueprint for one of them.
The bundle will also come with a weapon vinyl, a Light Tank vehicle skin, and a weapon charm. In a similar fashion to other collaborations, the Shredder TMNT bundle will most likely set you back 2,400 COD Points.
Whether you’re still working out what you need to have some of the best Warzone 2 loadouts at your disposal or playing around with some of the best Modern Warfare 2 weapons, we certainly think that this is going to be a popular collaboration with Call of Duty players – and it makes us wonder what’s next.
