If you’re an LMG enjoyer, then a Warzone 2 Sakin MG38 loadout is exactly what you’re after for your next drop into Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. The Sakin currently boasts the largest base ammo capacity of any gun in the game’s arsenal (and with certain attachments, you can make it even bigger too)
Considered one of the best Warzone 2 guns in its class. While this does make it a heavy weapon, it’s still extremely accurate and delivers a lot of damage. With our recommended class setup, this Sakin loadout will make you a formidable force on the battlefield.
Warzone 2 Sakin MG38 loadout
For the best Warzone 2 Sakin MG38 loadout, we recommend using the following attachments:
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Optic: SZ Recharge-DX
- Rear Grip: Bruen G305 Grip Wrap
- Barrel: 20″ Bruen Silver Series Barrel
The aim of the game here is to make the Sakin the ultimate long-range laser beam that will quickly down enemies that are caught out in the open.
For the first slot, we’re using the Polarfire-S. This suppressor is great for bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil smoothness, alongside the sound suppression it provides. Our second slot is taken up by the FSS OLE-V Laser, which helps provide increased aiming stability and ADS speed.
Next is the SZ Recharge-DX as our optic attachment. This is mainly down to preference, but it is a great reflex sight with a large field of view, great for overlooking big areas without taking your aim off enemies.
The penultimate slot is used by the Bruen G305 Grip Wrap. This helps provide increased recoil control, which is excellent for mid to long-range encounters. Finally, we’ve opted for the 20″ Bruen Silver Series Barrel. This is because it further improves the bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control, further balancing this powerful gun.
So, that’s the Sakin itself sorted, but what about the rest of your loadout drop?
Warzone 2 Sakin MG38 class setup
When creating your Sakin MG38 class in Warzone 2, be sure to pick these options for your secondary, perks, equipment, and field upgrade.
For your secondary, you’re going to need something a bit more mobile than an LMG, and something that can help you out at closer ranges. We recommend taking the Overkill perk so you can run two primary weapons, and pick one of the best Warzone 2 SMGs to partner with your Sakin. You can find some great builds in our Warzone 2 VEL 46 loadout and Warzone 2 Lachmann Sub loadout guides.
When it comes to lethal equipment you want something that can unsettle enemies and force them out into the open so you can pick them off – Drill Charges can definitely achieve that, as can a well-placed Thermite. For tactical equipment, you can’t go wrong with Stuns or Flash Grenades.
For your field upgrade, Anti-Armor Rounds would be a great addition to help you crack opponents quicker and to take out vehicles too.
For perks, you’ll of course need Overkill to run that SMG, and we think Tracker is the next-best basic perk you can pick. In the bonus perk slot, Fast Hands will be really important for this class, as reloading and swapping the Sakin can be a slow affair. Finally, in the ultimate perk slot, Ghost is probably your strongest option.
So that’s our recommendation for the ultimate Warzone 2 Sakin MG38 loadout. It’s certainly one of the best Warzone 2 LMGs and can deal huge amounts of damage before you even have to think about reloading its beefy magazine. It’s safe to see this behemoth is one to watch in the Warzone 2 meta for sure.
