Subsonic ammo helped keep you off the radar, which was a great boon if you were looking to play quite scrappy with this sniper. Add onto this the Krausnick Scout barrel, which removed enemy skulls when you killed enemies and reduced your firing visibility to enemies, and you could be quick and quiet.
The Leather Grip was key to ensuring you could aim down sights faster, while the Short Stock increased your movement, sprint to fire speed, and aim down sight speed.
While this build did decrease your effective damage range, the increased movement speed allowed you to stay on top of your enemies and keep up the pressure on them. It was built for close-range sniping anyway, rather than long-distance choke point hard-scoping. Given it’s a sniper, it had ample range anyhow, even after taking a hit in this department.
