There’s one main reason you’d want to run a best Modern Warfare 2 Sakin MG38 loadout, and that’s the fact it holds copious amounts of ammo. With a 100-round mag as standard, the Sakin boasts MW2’s largest base ammo capacity, but it can be much more than just a hefty bullet sprayer.
With the right attachments and class setup, you can build a walking death machine that can rival some of the best Modern Warfare 2 guns. Plus, with that amount of bullets you should be able to dominate on a variety of maps and game modes.
Modern Warfare 2 Sakin MG38 loadout
For the best Modern Warfare 2 Sakin MG38 loadout, we recommend using these:
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
- Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip Wrap
- Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
- Barrel: 20″ Bruen Silver Series
- Underbarrel: Sakin Side Grip
While you sadly still get some of the major drawbacks of an LMG (slow movement and reloads, for example), this Sakin loadout beefs up all of the positives.
With boosted range and accuracy, there are very few guns in MW2 that can take on this monster at long distances. As with most loadouts, the optic is also something of a personal preference, so go for something with slightly higher zoom if you really want to sit back and pick people off on some of the larger maps in the game. Overall, this Sakin loadout is great for holding down lanes on maps.
Modern Warfare 2 Sakin MG38 class setup
For your MW2 Sakin MG38 class, a secondary weapon will likely be pretty redundant (with 100 bullets in the mag, we doubt you’ll be switching to your sidearm to finish people off). However, the X12 or the X13 are two solid options for this slot.
Equipment-wise, you don’t need anything out of the ordinary either. For tactical equipment, take either Stun or Flash Grenades. For lethals, Semtex, Drill Charges, or Frag Grenades will do just fine.
Your Field Upgrade can also help you out in the heat of battle, so picking the right one is important. With an LMG in hand, you’re probably going to be stationed in a nice little spot where you can pick people off at range, so having a Trophy System as your Field Upgrade could come in handy to stop people ‘nading you off of your prime position.
Finally, let’s look at perks. The Base Perk combination of Bomb Squad and Battle Hardened could work to your advantage, especially if you haven’t got a Trophy System ready to go. For the Bonus Perk, we recommend either Hardline (get to killstreaks faster) or Fast Hands (to help speed up those sluggish reloads).
For the Ultimate Perk, there are a couple of routes you could go. Ghost will keep your position hidden from enemy minimaps, Overclock will give you more Trophy Systems to use, or Bird’s Eye will give you a more zoomed-out minimap to help you better locate the next target for you to mow down. Either will be a great addition to your loadout.
So that’s our recommendation for this Sakin MG38 Modern Warfare 2 class, which we think is one of the best MW2 loadouts in the game. Give it a spin, and see what you think. If it’s not to your liking, maybe consider switching to one of the best MW2 assault rifles instead, as you’ll get the long-range firepower but with a bit more mobility.
