Everyone wants to be heading into battle with one of the best Modern Warfare 2 guns, and if you love an LMG, there are few better options than the RAAL. Here we’ll show you how to build a banger of a class, from attachments to perks.

To create the best Modern Warfare 2 RAAL MG loadout, you’ll need this combination of attachments, courtesy of Call of Duty content creator ‘Speros‘:

- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser

- Muzzle: NILSOUND 90

Interestingly, Speros has gone with the NILSOUND 90 muzzle attachment. This is something that doesn’t really negatively impact the RAAL MG and offers some increase to damage range and bullet velocity – but, not as much as you could get elsewhere.
With the Demo Narrow Grip underbarrel attachment, you’re going to find that you’ll have improved recoil stabilisation and while protecting the aim down sight speed of this heavier automatic weapon. This, as you may already realise, is something improved upon by the FSS OLE-V Laser and something you can take full advantage of with the Slimline Pro optic attachment.
Finally, we have the FSS Riot Stock attachment. This is going to improve your mobility, but does negatively impact recoil control. However, this is quite vertical so you might find that it actually helps you land some decent two-shot kills.
If you don’t want to use the optic mentioned above, Speros also mentions that the Bruen Q900 Grip Wrap rear grip is worth looking into as this increased aim down sight speed even further.

So, what about the rest of your RAAL MG class? Here are our recommendations for all the other bells and whistles you need to add to your loadout.
It’s rare that you’ll have to use your secondary, what with the RAAL having plenty of bullets on board, but the full-auto X13 pistol might be a good option to bail you out of a close-range fight if you somehow find yourself in one.
For equipment, Stun Grenades to halt anyone pushing you is a good idea for the tactical, and for the lethal, some standard issue Frag Grenades or Semtex is all you really need.
For a Field Upgrade, a Trophy System will be a handy piece of gear to stop any incoming throwables and force enemies into engaging in a gunfight that they will likely be at long-range against your RAAL.
Finally, for perks, we’d take Extra Tactical and Bomb Squad for your Base Perks, Hardline for your Bonus Perk, and either Ghost or Quick Fix for your Ultimate Perk.
