If you get nostalgic about classic Call of Duty weapons, then you should definitely be running a Modern Warfare 2 PDSW 528 loadout. In MW2, the PDSW is essentially a carbon copy of the iconic P90 submachine gun, and it’s just as fun to use.
For nostalgia alone it’s one of the best Modern Warfare 2 guns, but it is also a great option to bring into battle in MW2’s multiplayer game modes. With a fairly big magazine for an SMG, the PDSW is great for mowing down multiple enemies without the need to reload. To make the PDSW even better though, you’ll need to head to the MW2 Gunsmith – read on to find out the best combination of attachments.
Modern Warfare 2 PDSW 528 loadout
We recommend using these five attachments to create the best Modern Warfare 2 PDSW 528 loadout build possible:
- Optic: Cronen Mini Red Dot
- Comb: TV TacComb
- Laser: STOVL Tac Laser
- Barrel: FTAC Series IX 14.5″
- Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
With this PDSW build, you’re going to still dominate in close-quarters engagements, but with the XTEN muzzle and FTAC barrel, you’ve now got some added damage, range, and bullet velocity. Your bullets will also be suppressed.
The Cronen Mini Red Dot sight could be swapped out for your personal preference, but a low zoom optic is advised as the PDSW’s iron sights aren’t that great.
Then, the laser will help you out with your mobility and accuracy at a close range, as with the comb choice. This all comes together to create a top SMG build and potentially one of the best Modern Warfare 2 loadouts if you can use it right.
Modern Warfare 2 PDSW 528 best class setup
However, a great PDSW loadout doesn’t just stop at the attachments – let’s take a look at some of the other aspects of your class that you’ll need to consider. First, you’ll need a secondary weapon, just in case your ammo reserves run dry. Either the X12 or the X13 pistols both look to be the best options in this department.
Then there’s equipment. For your tactical, we recommend Stun Grenades, and for your lethal, you can’t go wrong with either Frags or Semtex to get those explosive kills.
Dead Silence is the Field Upgrade we’d recommend for aggressive players, but if you’re slightly more cautious, a Portable Radar will allow you to detect nearby players before you charge into an objective.
Finally, you’ll need some perks. Double Time and Tracker is a good Base Perks combo for mobile SMG players, Hardline is a superb Bonus Perk, and Ghost is an Ultimate Perk that will keep you off of enemy radars.
Give this best PDSW MW2 loadout a try and see what you think – it’s certainly one of the best SMGs in Modern Warfare 2. If you’re trying to unlock all the attachments for the gun, you can read up on how to level up guns fast in Modern Warfare 2 here.
