Modern Warfare 2 is the name of this year’s Call of Duty game and we now have a logo for the game, which draws upon the green colour scheme of Infinity Ward’s 2011 game, Modern Warfare 3.
Beyond the logo reveal, Call of Duty, did publish a short animated trailer for the logo which feels even more like a trip back more than a decade ago. You can also see an image of the Task Force 141 logo in the trailer. However, no other information was revealed, which means we are going to have to wait to get a glimpse. But some more teasers could be just around the corner.
Despite that though, we do know that NFL players have been playing the game over the last week or so, which could mean that we will be getting some impressions and a reveal trailer sooner rather than later.
If this does happen it would be a major change compared to the last few years where Call of Duty games have been revealed late in the Summer, usually with a Warzone event.

What are your thoughts on the logo and when do you think we will get a glimpse at Infinity Ward’s next entry in the long-running series?
