Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Invasion mode explained

Modern Warfare 2’s Invasion mode is a 20v20 mode that also features 20 AI on each team. The mode is built for a combination of that AI and that PvP gameplay.

It drops two teams of 20 players onto a map and they have to fight to be the last one standing. In effect, it is a larger-scale team deathmatch that resembles something closer to Attrition from the original Titanfall.
