If you prefer to play with speed on your side, then the best Modern Warfare 2 BAS-P loadout is one you’ll definitely want to add to your armoury. This SMG is an addition with Season 1 of the game and is already turning heads.
While the BAS-P hasn’t got a spot in our best Modern Warfare 2 guns list just yet, it could creep in soon. It’s not great at supporting or keeping hold of objectives, but you can easily take out enemies that are making their way to your captured points. We would also argue that it is one of the best Modern Warfare 2 SMGs currently.
Modern Warfare 2 BAS-P loadout
Despite its size, the best Modern Warfare 2 BAS-P loadout still packs a powerful punch. Here are the attachments you’ll need to craft this build:
- Barrel: 12” Bruen SZ-36
- Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
- Stock: BR Stockless Mod
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Laser: Hipshot L20
With this loadout, you’ll be sacrificing some of the recoil control and fire rate BAS-P to bring up the other stats, because these stats are already top of the range compared to other SMGs. Using our BAS-P loadout, you’ll see an increase in damage, handling, range, and mobility.
Taking up the first slot is the 12” Bruen SZ-36, a barrel that optimises the BAS-P for higher damage range, bullet velocity and recoil control. For the underbarrel, we’ve gone with the FSS Sharkfin 90, a simple yet great attachment that increases the accuracy of the SMG. The BR Stockless Mod will bring up the ADS speed, sprint to fire speed, movement speed, and the recoil control.
For the final two attachments we recommend using the 50 Round Drum and the Hipshot L20. The former will ensure that you have enough ammunition for any firefights, meaning you don’t have to focus on reloading as often, while the latter is a great laser that will help in close-range encounters, as it increases the hip fire accuracy and control.
Best Modern Warfare 2 BAS-P class setup
Moving on to the rest of the class, the first you need to think about is your secondary. While any standard pistol will work, we recommend using the best Modern Warfare 2 Kastov 762 loadout as a secondary, or the best Modern Warfare 2 SP-R 208 loadout. This means you can deal with enemies at a longer range than if you just relied on the BAS-P. Next we have the perk package. Our base perks consist of Overkill and Double Time, so you can use a primary weapon in your secondary slot, with Double Time allowing you to use Tactical Sprint for longer. As for the bonus perk, we recommend using Fast Hands so you can reload and switch your weapons faster. Finally, the ultimate perk we think you should use is Quick Fix, to help bring you back up to full health after any engagements.
On the equipment side of things, we suggest using the Drill Charge and the Stim. While much of this is down to preference, the Drill Charge means you can clear out entrances or exits easily, with the Stim topping your health up as and when needed. As for the Field Upgrades, you could use either Dead Silence, Battle Rage, or Tactical Insertion depending on the game modes you play frequently.
